Location: Quito, Ecuador
Status: Assembled in September 2016. Unassembled in October 2016
Description: This project was completed for a public exhibition at the United Nations Habitat III summit which took place in Quito last year. Located in the Itchimbia Park next to the old town of Quito, it had 4 stories and two 70m2 apartments per floor.
The complete construction of the building was completed in only 35 days, including foundations, and furnishing and decorating the apartments. Photovoltaic panels were included on the roof which generate 70% of the energy consumed in a home with these characteristics.
Once the Habitat III summit was over, it was dismantled in 30 days without leaving any lasting impact on the ground where it was built.
